Audience events in Marmorsalen
Marmorsalen is the largest venue at Sentralen, suitable for conferences, concerts, weddings, banquets, Christmas parties, summer parties, fairs, award ceremonies, presentations, seminars, and theater performances.
The hall is flexible and has vibrant acoustics, well-suited for amplified or slightly amplified music, and strong reverberation. This can be significantly muted with acoustic curtains.
Large, old windows facing Øvre Slottsgate along with the glass pyramid in the ceiling, let in plenty of natural light. The ceiling height is 9 meters at the highest point! It is also possible to divide the hall using advanced curtain systems on the walls and ceiling.

Kronesalen, Forstanderskapssalen, Hvelvet and Studio A was used for Ligg & Lytt
During Kulturnatt 2023, Sentralen participated with the free event Ligg & Lytt (Lie & Listen). Over a thousand people wandered between the different rooms used for the event.
Every three hour, the audience has a chance to experience classical concerts in four rooms, lying on the floor.

UKM Oslo Fylkesfestival used multiple halls during the festival weekend
In the different rooms, there were karaoke, game rooms for hanging out and relaxing, backstage areas, art exhibitions, rehearsal spaces, festival offices, registration areas, and performance venues.
Events that require multiple rooms have many options to choose from in the building. Sentralen is especially well-suited for large, full-house events.

Relaxed concert in Marmorsalen: RELÆXT
Three musicians performed a RELÆXT concert without a stage, with a grand piano on the floor, in Marmorsalen.
The chairs were arranged with ample space for wheelchairs.
The side-stage entrance was used as an alternative entrance for wheelchair users, but it was also possible to use the elevator from the main entrance.
