Audience insight and marketing of events at Sentralen

Marketing of events at Sentralen

We rent out halls and stages, auditorium, production rooms, meeting rooms, studios and roof terrace for concerts, performances, festivals, conferences and all other types of events.

All events become part of our program. We contribute with the promotion of events. You are responsible for submitting information about your event via the programme form or ticket form after your booking has been confirmed. The information submitted via form is used for marketing purposes.

We promote the events at Sentralen through our channels: sentralen.no, newsletter, Facebook and Instagram. All events submitted through the program or ticket form are added to the program at sentralen.no.

There are three programme pages on sentralen.no:

  • Event program (all events)
  • Programme of events for children and young people
  • Event program for those under 26

Your event will get its own sub-page in the program, with information you have submitted: text, illustration photo and other information. There is a direct link to any ticket sales on the event sub-pages and in the programme. We will also link to your website/Facebook page if you have submitted in the form. Your logo will appear in the event overview if you have submitted this in the form in the correct format.

Facebook ensures that the privacy of users is respected, making direct association between private profiles and company pages limited. We therefore recommend creating a corporate account for ensembles, theatre companies, bands, etc instead of creating a Facebook event with your personal Facebook account.

External Activity Calendars

Events broadcast

All events in the concert, DJ and club category that are submitted via program or ticket form are automatically added to the Broadcast calendar. Broadcast is a free online app and event calendar.

Visit Oslo

Visit Oslo has an agreement with the following ticket platforms: Ticketmaster, TicketCo, eTicket (DX), Hoopla, Tixly and Tikkio: All events that have ticket sales through these are automatically imported into Visit Oslo's calendar and placed in a registration queue, which is processed manually. Text and image can be edited. The queue updates every night, and Visit Oslo publishes as soon as they can. The calendar is updated 1-2 months ahead in time. Not all events are added to the calendar. Events not published in these ticketing platforms must be submitted by emailing tilarr@visitoslo.no. It is the organiser's responsibility to submit their event to Visit Oslo if the event is not published on one of the ticket platforms mentioned above. The event can be sent to arr@visitoslo.no, in two ways:

1. Link to the sub-page of the event at centralen.no, when it is published there. 2. An email with: Date, time, descriptive text, image (at least 1000 px wide), photo credit info. Visit Oslo also occasionally selects events at Sentralen which they promote at the Oslo Visitor Centre at Østbanehallen.

Sentralen sends Aktiv i Oslo information about events for children and young people at Sentralen. These are published in their Calendar for Children and Young People. From time to time, Aktiv in Oslo picks out other events at Sentralen and makes issues about them, which are sometimes included in their newsletter.

Posters and flyers

You can hang up posters for your event on Sentralen poster wall just inside the main entrance. It is also possible to put flyers/leaflets here.

Displays at Sentralen

In the audience areas on the first and second floors, and in the meeting rooms, there are TV screens with information about Sentralen and offers at Sentralen. Upcoming events will appear on lists on the screens as the event approaches.
