At the corner on the first floor, behind the stained-glass paintings by Are Mokkelbost, is Hitchhiker Restaurant. Here, you can enjoy street food from around the world for lunch and dinner.
The restaurant opened on the second floor of Mathallen Vulkan in 2013, and was the country's first to serve authentic street food. Since 12 September 2023, the restaurant has been located on the first floor at Sentralen

Since the opening of Sentralen on March 1, 2016, Sentralen Restaurant has served visitors with small dishes made from high-quality, seasonal Norwegian ingredients. After seven memorable years, Sentralen Restaurant closed, and Hitchhiker took over the premises.
You can access Hitchhiker from both the reception and the door at the street corner. The menu is made up of various street food dishes from around the world, with a particular focus on East Asia.
