Studio A is located on the lower floor of Sentralen, along with the smaller Studio B.

The studios are built for streaming, recording, pre-production and rehearsals.

It is possible to use Studio B as a control room/FoH for sound engineer (and lighting technician). The studio has windows facing Studio A.

Adjacent to Studio A and B is also a separate separate control room for sound, lighting and streaming technicians.

With the help of light balusters on the walls, and over six meters under the ceiling at the highest, the room is airy and bright.

Acoustically, the room is adapted to both slightly amplified and amplified sound.

Studio A can be used for preproduction by both soloists, ensembles and bands, and can accommodate up to 20 performers depending on the amount of equipment.

It is possible to have both breakfast, lunch and dinner in the cafe or restaurant on the ground floor.

It is possible to rent all of the technical equipment, with the exception of the backline. For technical specifications in Studio A, and available equipment, see Tech Specs here.

Load-in can be done through the main entrance in Øvre Slottsgate, or at the load-in on the side of the building. There is an elevator down to the lower floor.

The room can be rented between 08:00 and 22:00 every day, also on weekends.
